Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Trust247 Clapham Locksmith. These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of our locksmith services and products. By booking our services or accepting a quotation, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us

Trust247 Clapham Locksmith provides emergency and non-emergency locksmith services to residential and commercial customers throughout London and the surrounding areas.

2. Quotations

All quotations provided by us are based on the information available at the time of the enquiry. If additional work, replacement parts, or unforeseen issues are identified after inspection, we will inform you and obtain your approval before carrying out any additional work or charges.

3. Call-Out Charges

Where applicable, any agreed call-out charge covers attendance at the property and initial assessment only. Additional labour, parts, and materials will be charged separately unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Labour Charges

Labour charges are quoted based on the expected work required. If additional labour is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the customer before proceeding.

5. Parts Pricing

All replacement parts supplied by Trust247 Clapham Locksmith are sold at our own commercial prices. Our prices are determined in accordance with our internal pricing policy and may differ from manufacturers’ recommended retail prices (RRP), trade prices, online retail prices, or prices offered by other suppliers.

Our quotation will clearly state the price of any replacement parts required. By accepting our quotation, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and agreed to the quoted prices for both parts and labour before work begins.

We do not offer price matching, and no refund or price adjustment will be made if the same or similar product is available elsewhere at a lower price.

6. Customer Approval

No chargeable work will be undertaken without the customer’s agreement to the quotation, except where immediate action is required to protect life, safety, or property and the customer has authorised us to proceed.

7. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card, and bank transfer where available.

Failure to make payment may result in debt recovery action and any additional recovery costs permitted by law.

8. Cancellation

If a booking is cancelled after an engineer has been dispatched, a cancellation or call-out fee may apply.

9. Emergency Services

Emergency response times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

10. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure that:

  • They have authority to request work at the property.
  • They provide accurate information regarding the job.
  • The work area is safe and accessible.

We reserve the right to refuse service where safety is at risk.

11. Warranty

Where applicable, replacement parts supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Our workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period from the date of installation, provided that:

  • the product has not been tampered with,
  • the fault is not caused by misuse, accidental damage, attempted break-ins, vandalism, normal wear and tear, or external factors beyond our control.

Warranty claims must be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of locksmith services and specially ordered parts, fitted products cannot normally be returned unless they are faulty or your statutory rights provide otherwise.

Refunds will only be provided where required under applicable UK consumer law.

13. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the above, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the relevant services.

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, strikes, utility failures, or other unforeseen events.

15. Data Protection

We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
